Origin
This wasn’t invented in a boardroom.

Relay started with a specific fnavyration: the schedule said one thing, the shift did another, and by the next morning nobody could reconstruct what actually happened.
The sale was recorded perfectly. The shift around it lived in paper, group chats and memory. Relay exists to record that second half properly — coverage, routines, procedures, exceptions and handoff.
Founder
Harrison Mantla
Harrison worked the shifts Relay is built for: opening, closing, training new hires, covering call-outs and walking into the morning after somebody else’s close.
He leads product and company direction, and he owns the restaurant and customer perspective inside every decision — what a manager can realistically do at 16:15 with doors at 17:00.

Team
Relay is built by a team.
Harrison brings the restaurant operating experience. The rest of the team brings software engineering discipline — architecture, security, infrastructure and release quality — and works directly with operators to keep the product honest.
