Questions
Before you hand us the keys.
Does Relay replace our POS?+
No. Your POS records transactions. Relay records the shift around those transactions: staffing, routines, tasks, procedures, exceptions and handoff.
Who actually uses Relay?+
Owners, managers and team members each see the part of the operating record relevant to them. Access should follow organization, location and role.
Do staff have to download another app?+
Relay is being built as a responsive web experience for supported phones and computers, so it can live close to the work without adding device drama.
Can we test only one thing?+
Yes. The founding pilot is intentionally narrow: one location, one workflow worth fixing, thirty days.
What happens after 30 days?+
We review the operational result together. Nothing automatically converts into a paid subscription; any continuation is agreed in writing.
Is this employee surveillance software?+
No. Relay is meant to create operational accountability without turning the restaurant into a surveillance system. The record should protect staff as well as managers by making responsibility and context visible.
How is data handled?+
Pilot agreements define the data collected and retained. Product access is designed around organization, location and role.
Bring the shift that keeps biting you.
We’ll walk through the real service, the systems beside it, and where Relay could own one workflow.
